Traditional box windows — heritage joinery

Hohensee’s traditional box-window construction forms part of its heritage range. It is presented for historic properties and new buildings with a traditional architectural character. For an enquiry, photographs and section drawings help identify the construction required; the word ‘heritage’ alone is not a specification.

Planning your enquiry

For a palace, manor house or other historic property, provide photographs of the existing joinery and any requirements concerning its appearance. Proportions, divisions, details and the installation arrangement matter. The palace gallery can support a discussion about appearance, but does not establish that every photograph shows this same system. Agree the scope and requirements for the particular building separately.

Specification and supporting documents

Include dimensions, opening arrangement, glazing, finish and project requirements in one enquiry. Technical performance should relate to the configuration being ordered. For a protected building, provide any conservation requirements; a quotation does not replace the necessary approvals.
